AFFORDABLE ONLINE PHLEBOTOMY PROGRAM

SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Work Assignments: All assignments, quizzes, & tests will be completed online. Power points will be delivered via email. The power points are simplified so you are not overwhelmed with excessive pages of reading materials. Quizzes & test will be sent out once you complete the power point module. You will also receive a study guide for the National Phlebotomy test once you complete the program. You MUST pass all quizzes and tests with at least a grade of 70% or better. If you happen to fail a quiz or test you are allowed a second attempt. Clinicals: During the online program you will be required to attend at least one day of clinicals. During clinicals you will be practicing venipuncture procedures, capillary punctures, venipuncture with the manikin arm, and one on one interaction and lecture on lab practices and any other questions you would like to go over during that time. After you complete the program, you are allowed access to the classroom on days that venipuncture procedures are being practiced for additional experience and practice, Clinicals are done in Orlando. Certification: Once you have completed the program with a passing grade and have attended all clinicals, you will receive a certification of completion and be considered a certified phlebotomist. After you have received your certification, it is highly recommended that you sign up to take the national certified phlebotomy test to receive your license. You are able to get a position as a phlebotomist however it is recommended that you obtain your license as it is preferred by employers. License: After completion of the program and phlebotomy certification is obtained, you are eligible to sign up to take the National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE). You are eligible to sign up for the exam through the program. You will also receive study guides to prepare for the NPCE.
