PHLEBOTOMY PROGRAM (APRIL 22nd)
This program is designed for anyone looking to get into Phlebotomy and is a great stepping stone to start in the medical field. This is a hybrid program created for those who don't have the time for going to school on a full-time schedule. Whether you have past experience in the field or not, you will be guided every step of the way. You can contact me at any time throughout the entire program. My goal is to make you the best phlebotomist you can be and give tips to help you find employment after program completion.
DAY CLASS PROGRAM SCHEDULE
1st week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30am -11:00am (in class)
2nd week- Mon, Wed, Friday 9:30am -11:00am (in class)
3rd week- Exam (at home)
NIGHT CLASS PROGRAM SCHEDULE
1 st week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:00pm- 7:30pm
2 nd week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:00pm-7:30pm
3rd week- Exam (at home
CLINICALS
During the program you will be required to attend classes on the day of clinicals. During clinicals you will be practicing venipuncture procedures, capillary punctures, venipuncture with the manikin arm, and one on one interaction and lecture on lab practices and any other questions you would like to go over during that time. Clinicals are done in the classroom.
CERTIFICATION
Once you have completed the program with a passing grade and have attended all clinicals, you will receive a certification of completion and be considered a certified phlebotomist. After you have received your certification, it is highly recommended that you sign up to take the national certified phlebotomy test to receive your license. You are able to get a position as a phlebotomist with your certification, however it is recommended that you obtain your license as it is preferred by certain employers.
LICENSE
After completion of the program and phlebotomy certification is obtained, you are eligible to sign up to take the National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE). You are eligible to sign up for the exam through the program. You will also receive study guides to prepare for the NPCE.
